There Is No Perfect Book — So Start Writing!

There’s no such thing as a perfect book, and if you try and write one you will never finish it. – David Gaughran

I’m not sure there is all that much more to be said on this topic at this point, but this relevant Churchill quote is also good for a chuckle:

Writing a book is an adventure to begin with, it is a toy and an amusement, then it becomes a mistress, and then it becomes a master, and then a tyrant. The last phase is that just as you are about to be reconciled to your servitude, you kill the monster, and fling him out to the public. – Winston Churchill

You’ll never be perfectly satisfied with your book, so spend your efforts on the 20% that will give you 80% of the results, and when it’s good enough, publish it. Of course, part of the benefit of the workbook and this program is that we’ll help you know when it’s “good enough.”
